Lobbies have always captured my attention while traveling. They can say,
&#8220;welcome&#8221; or &#8220;keep on walking!&#8221;

When lobby designers use heavy timber, it always says welcome&#8230;have a cup of tea&#8230;read your newspapers&#8230;meet someone special.

Where are the roasted chestnuts? Yes, another Grand Marnier, please,
while I check out these beams.

Some angles speak for themselves. Something like &#8220;ahhhh&#8221;&#8230;is what comes out of me.


Some angles are nice to study, to see all that the architect created. The angles seem to play with you&#8230;the eye cannot rest.
No mediocre here!

It&#8217;s never just a building when heavy timber is involved.
