Joinery and Its Components
The inherent strength and beauty of post and beam framing is unparalleled. A craft with a puzzle like fit and uncompromising structural strength that has endured over centuries. It is a lifestyle for people who appreciate it and we love working with those people.
Post & Beam Ideas
Extend your timber frame repertoire to other ideas beyond a home or dining hall. Try an entertainment barn, boat house ,pergola or picnic shelter.
Learn About Sustainability With Timber
When building your post and beam home you can preserve the eco-system by requesting timber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Timber with the FSC stamp is timber that has been regenerated and carefully monitored where only select trees are harvested and remaining trees are left to grow to maintain the ecosystem. Others ways to be a responsible citizen is to request that your timber be harvested within 500 miles of your building site and use a finish with a low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) that allows chemical to vaporize and enter the earths atmosphere.
Pergolas Abound for Spring
